Private Play is perfect for those times when you want the fun of The Sensory Studio with a little more space to yourselves. Plan a playdate with friends, bring the cousins together, enjoy special time with grandparents, meet up with your homeschool crew, or simply give your family a quieter way to play. Whether you're gathering with a few favorite people or just looking for room to explore at your own pace, Private Play makes it easy.

Your Studio. Your People. Your Playtime.
When you reserve Private Play, the Studio is exclusively yours for your reserved playtime! Kids can climb, move, imagine, explore, and play while the adults in your group stay, supervise, and enjoy time together too.
There’s no structured activity, party setup, or schedule to follow — just show up and play your way. Socks are required for all children and adults, and a supervising adult must remain with children throughout your visit. It's simple, relaxed, private play made just for your crew.

We’re excited to help you celebrate at The Sensory Studio! To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review our party booking policies:

🔹 Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your party, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to cancel within this timeframe will result in a $75 cancellation fee.
​
🔹 Time Extension Fee: Your party reservation includes a set time frame. If your party exceeds the reserved time, an additional fee of $25 per 10 minutes will be charged per. Please be mindful of your scheduled end time to avoid extra charges.

🔹 Destruction Fee: We strive to keep The Sensory Studio a safe and welcoming space for all guests. If there is purposeful destruction of Studio equipment or materials, a damage fee will be assessed based on the cost of repairs or replacements.

🔹All guests participating in play, will need to sign a waiver prior to party. You can save time and share our waiver online to your guests by sharing this link!

FAQ's
Do we need to wear socks?
Yes! Socks are required for all children and adults while in the Studio. Grip socks are recommended for children but are not required.

Can we bring food or drinks?
Private Play is all about keeping things simple! Families are welcome to bring small snacks and drinks, such as coffee, water, juice, or a quick snack for the kids. If you're looking to bring cake, party food, decorations, or host a birthday celebration, one of our Birthday Party Packages will be the better fit.

How early should we arrive?
There’s no need to arrive early! Please plan to arrive at the start of your reserved time. Your Private Play session begins and ends at the times listed on your reservation.

What happens when our playtime is over?
We ask that your group is ready to leave the Studio at the end of your reserved time so we can prepare the space for our next guests. Gathering shoes, coats, and belongings a few minutes before the end of your session can help make checkout easy.

Do we need to clean up?
Nope! We’ll take care of the cleanup after your session. When your Private Play time is over, simply gather your belongings and we'll handle resetting and tidying the Studio for the next group.

Do adults need to stay?
Yes. Private Play is not a drop-off program. Adults must remain in the Studio and supervise their children throughout the entire reservation.

Can we use Private Play for a birthday?
Private Play is intended for casual family time, playdates, and small gatherings rather than birthday celebrations. If you're planning to bring cake, decorations, gifts, or party activities, please choose one of our Birthday Party Packages.
