Understanding Sensory Processing Making Sense of Everyday Challenges Have you ever wondered why transitions feel so difficult, your child constantly seeks movement, or everyday routines sometimes end in frustration? Sensory processing can influence everything from attention and emotions to behavior, learning, play, and participation. Join pediatric occupational therapist Alex Neukirch as we explore how children experience and respond to the world around them—and why understanding those differences can make everyday challenges begin to make more sense. You’ll leave with “aha” moments, practical strategies, and greater confidence supporting your child at home, school, and in the community. Because when we better understand the “why,” figuring out what to do next becomes a whole lot easier.

Cancellation Policy
Cost & Payment: The cost of the class or group may vary. Payment is expected up front, if you need an alternative payment plan please reach out to us directly. Waiver Requirement: A completed waiver must be on file for each child before attending the class or group. Cancellation & Unenrollment: If you need to un-enroll your child, please contact us at least 72 hours before the first date of the group in order to receive a refund. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days due to illness, travel, or scheduling conflicts. If the Sensory Studio must cancel a group, families will receive a full refund or studio credit. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to an exciting summer at The Sensory Studio!
