Making the Holidays Work for Your Family Understanding Transitions, Big Gatherings & Helping Kids Participate The holidays can be exciting and meaningful—but they can also be a lot for kids. Changes in routines, busy gatherings, unfamiliar foods and places, travel, family expectations, and disrupted schedules can make even the fun parts feel overwhelming. Join us for a practical, family-centered workshop exploring how to prepare for changes, support big feelings and sensory needs, navigate family expectations, and help children participate in ways that work for them. You’ll leave with practical ideas for making gatherings and holiday traditions more manageable, easing transitions, and creating more opportunities for connection and joy. Because the holidays don’t have to look perfect to be meaningful.

Cancellation Policy
Cost & Payment: The cost of the class or group may vary. Payment is expected up front, if you need an alternative payment plan please reach out to us directly. Waiver Requirement: A completed waiver must be on file for each child before attending the class or group. Cancellation & Unenrollment: If you need to un-enroll your child, please contact us at least 72 hours before the first date of the group in order to receive a refund. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed days due to illness, travel, or scheduling conflicts. If the Sensory Studio must cancel a group, families will receive a full refund or studio credit. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to an exciting summer at The Sensory Studio!
