Social Skills Group: Summer Series

Service Description

Help your child build confidence, friendships, and important social skills through purposeful play! This four-week, therapist-led program is designed for children ages 3–5 and provides a supportive, sensory-friendly environment where children learn to communicate, cooperate, and connect with others. Led by an experienced Occupational Therapist from Functional Kids Pediatric Therapy, each session combines structured activities, cooperative games, and child-led play to encourage confidence, independence, and positive peer interactions. Parents are welcome to observe, ask questions, and leave with practical strategies to support their child's development at home. Children Will Practice: Communication and conversation skills Turn-taking and sharing Identifying and expressing emotions Cooperative play and problem-solving Self-regulation and social confidence Expanding play skills and engaging with peers Program Details: Ages: 3–5 years Dates: Mondays – July 13, 20, 27 & August 3 Time: 4:30–5:30 PM Cost: $120 for the complete 4-week series With small group sizes and individualized support, Social Skills Group provides a fun, welcoming space where children can build meaningful connections while developing skills that last far beyond the classroom.
