Sensory Explorers: Animal Adventure

Service Description

Hop, crawl, stomp, and soar into a wild adventure! Animal Adventure is a movement-based sensory class where children use imaginative play and active exploration to build confidence while developing essential motor skills. Led by an experienced Occupational Therapist from Functional Kids Pediatric Therapy, this exciting class transforms children into their favorite animals as they navigate obstacle courses, balance challenges, climbing activities, and sensory-rich movement stations. Through purposeful play, children strengthen coordination, body awareness, motor planning, and self-confidence—all while having a blast. Parents and caregivers participate alongside their child, learning simple ways to encourage movement, sensory exploration, and active play at home. In This Class, Children Will: Crawl, jump, balance, climb, and move through fun animal-themed obstacle courses Strengthen motor planning and coordination Improve balance, body awareness, and core strength Explore sensory-rich movement activities in a playful environment Build confidence through active challenges Encourage imagination, participation, and cooperative play Class Details Date: Monday, July 27 Time: 11:00AM–12:00 PM Ages: 2–6 years Cost: $25 per child ✨ Bonus! Animal Adventure is the final class in our three-week Sensory Explorers series, presented in partnership with Functional Kids Pediatric Therapy and The Sensory Studio. This fun-filled experience helps children build confidence, coordination, and independence through purposeful movement and sensory play, while giving parents practical ideas to support healthy development long after class ends.
